  1. Piper says:

Stinking walgreens coupon system will not allow coupons that exceed the amount priced on the product. I tried getting a free box of Post Raisen Brand with the coupon, and they said since the coupon was one penny more than the product, their cash register would not allow them to do the transaction unless I purchased a larger box priced higher than the coupon, I was highly upset because money is tight and I needed that food, I almost cried, it was embarrasing. They told me that their cash register thinks they owe me money back when they get a coupon valued higher than the product, and this was done by both a regular employee and the store manager that was present that day. I have not been back since, though I do intend to try again sometime. Thank you for this list though.

    Hi Piper,
I feel your pain when it comes to Walgreens.

  3. April says:

Piper, I also understand. Walgreens is very, very tricky. You can’t blame the cashiers. It’s the Walgreens company themself that are so ridiculous. They are the losers, though, because I rarely go there because it’s so much trouble. I shop instead at CVS and Rite-Aid who don’t give me trouble, so they get all my business from all the other things I buy.

  4. Christina says:

regarding the starbucks drinks, I know I need 4 $1off coupons for this to work, but coupons.com will not let me print more than two…is there a way around this?

  5. Wendi @ The Freebie Blogger says:

I think that you only have to buy one with the coupon and you will get it for $1.25. Since not all Walgreens are the same, you can ask the cashier about it before you check out. If she says you do need to buy 4, you will need 2 computers to print the coupons. Sorry.

  6. Stephanie says:

Piper, Walgreens can accept coupons over the amount of the item. Some cashiers are stupid and don’t know how to do this. Tell them when its over the price they have to key in that price when they scan the coupon.

Christina, you can also print two more Starbucks coupons at http://www.starbucks.com. Just hit the back button twice after you print the first time.

  7. Keri Rae says:

Can’t you use a “filler” item?
