the splenda coupon says redemable only at BJ’s will walgreens still honor it?

Even though it says that, it is a manufacturer coupon so most places should take it. I have used 5 different coupons that said that at both Walmart and CVS and they took them with no problem.

January 31st, 2009 at 10:17 pmI went to Wal-greens last night and tried to get the colgate that was 2.99 and then you get $2 register rewards, well I tried to use a mq and she said if I did my RR wouldn’t print out. So I didn’t use it. Is that right?

February 2nd, 2009 at 1:51 pmUsually if you use a RR from the same deal the RR won’t print, but I’ve never had a problem using mq coupons and receiving my RR. She doesn’t know what she’s talking about.

I asked someone who is more of an authority on Walgreens and this is what they said “a lot of stores will tell you that, but for the most part it is not true. it does seem that a few stores have found some way to program their catalina machines not to print if a coupon is used. but i wouldn’t believe it just because they said so”. I have also contacted Walgreens customer service to see what they have to say about that but they have yet to respond.

February 5th, 2009 at 11:03 amI haven’t heard anything either, but in the past when I had a problem they have always responded. Walgreens has terrible in-store customer service and I’m sure that they are just bombarded with questions and complaints. You could try again, maybe a different cashier will work. Or maybe speaking to the manager. You can also read my post here:
