Me and my husband also went to Baby R Us to purchase some of the key essentials for our first born during this month. We signed up for the Rewards program thinking that we will get some decent amount back since we are spending so much here. The sales associate also kept on promoting how wonderful the Rewards program was. A week later I decided to log into Baby R Us to verify everything and boy was I disappointed. We made a total purchase of $897.06 at there store but only received ONLY HALF of their so-called eligible qualifying dollar amount, which is $448.53. So that means we only get a $10 certificate for our next purchase. Since the period just ended you can't carry over the points. Some of the items weren't on sale but we just used a 15 or 20% coupon that they sent us and therefore it is consider to be a sale item. What a gimmick they have to convince you to purchase items at their stores.

I purchased almost everything from babies r us for my first newborn which may account to atleast $1700. After I moved I updated the new address at the billing register in the store. Then I receive a sheet of expired rewards coupons which were actually sent to my old address. When I call the customer service of rewards r us, the agent mentions that the address was not updated and she updates it then and says that I would get a call from them. I give a call back for the voice message I received, to the customer service and the agent denies to replace the coupons, argues illogically saying that the guest (customer) has the responsibility to update the address even after I mentioned that I did update at the store, and hangs up! he also mentioned that this is a free program, so if it is a free program then if there is no fair play why do they want customers to join it? Only because of the rewards a customer is encouraged to make purchases at babies r us compared to other stores like Target! In fact stuff at babies r us is more expensive than stuff at other stores and online in Amazon! I feel I should have bought all my baby stuff at some other store or online, I would save more money than these rewards and if bought online, there is free shipping too! Such a waste of money. DISGUSTING!

This rewards program really kind of sucks. I was pretty excited about it, but so far it has given me NO benefits! I keep waiting for rewards to come in the mail and nothing. So I go online and check out the "My Purchases" tab... you barely every get Qualifying dollars. Lots of the stuff I buy is not on sale, promotion or clearanse but I rarely if ever recieve full or even partial dollars. And while the Purchases show that I have purchased 11 Value boxes.... the counter shows a big fat 0 Come on! I can just got to Target, they accept A pampers coupon and a Target coupon for the same Item. Screw you BabiesRus... Like I needed one more thing to worry about and remember. Sheesh!

For the past two reward cycles, I have gotten my $5 coupons two weeks or less before they expire. For some that might not be a problem, but for others getting to the store that quick isn't possible. They need a longer "valid" time!

Wow, when you call to ask them to add items to your rewards after the fact, they are quite snippy. In the time it took for her to explain what an inconvenience I was to her, she could have done the whole transaction. When she was done, she did say thank you, but it was disingenuous and then she hung up on me.

For the previous poster, in the terms and conditions it says furniture is not eligible. It also says sale / clearance items are only good for half the cost. I bought 4 items yesterday- none of them were on sale or clearance, but all only gave me half the value in points. Seems like this program still has issues. I'll see how much spam they send...

My husband and I bought a crib and dresser and I had not received my rewards card yet so I was told to call the number and have the receipt added. I did that the following day and was unable to, they told me I had to wait a couple of weeks. I had to call back several times and finally they told me that it had been added. Weeks later when I was finally able to log on to their website, (because it closes every time I try to log on) I realized the purchase was never added. I called again and I was told that all along I had the wrong receipt, that I needed the pick up receipt in order to get credit. I looked for the pickup receipt and called a few days later. They told me that I could add the purchase but I would not receive any rewards because that rewards period had ended and that there was nothing they could do about it. I am so mad about that. I did nothing wrong, they screwed up and I won't get any credit for a purchase of almost $1,000. That's a bunch of BS!
