Quiznos Million Sub Giveaway

* This offer has ended.

* It looks like Quiznos (corporate) is not reimbursing the individually owned stores for this coupon. Since these stores can’t afford to lose what could potentially be thousands of dollars, many will not accept the coupon. I really can’t blame them for that, but I can blame Quiznos corporate. Saying that you are giving away one million free subs will get you a lot of free advertising and I’m sure that is what they wanted. Even with the free advertising, it is worthless when the deal has such a big loophole. I know that many of you are upset so if you would like to complain you can call 866-4-TOASTED.

Quiznos is giving away 1 million free subs with your choice of either a small Quiznos Signature sub or Every Day Value sub. Once you submit your Free Sub registration you will receive a confirmation email for your personalized Quiznos coupon. Coupon will expire 5 days after printing. ID may be required to redeem your coupon. By completing the form, you will automatically be entered into the Quiznos Q–Club marketing database, but you can opt out here. Participating locations only.

You can print multiple copies too, when your printer screen pops up just change the number of copies box; I printed 3 copies. They all have the same coupon code of course, so we’ll see if I can use them or not. (on different trips of course)

  2. Michelle S. says:

I just called a few Quizno’s in my area and nobody will accept this coupon, so check with your local store before going.

  3. Wendi @ The Freebie Blogger says:

Thanks Michelle. I’ve added the info to the post. I really hope they will accept them in my area so my husband and I can get a cheap dinner!

  4. Manager says:

Quiznos made it so that even if you decide to be cheap and print 1,000 copies, only ONE will be accepted because every voucher will have its own numbers at the bottom and only ONE can be redeemed. After that numbers have been redeemed, it will not accept any.

    Good try though.

  5. Ali says:

Darn if I can’t get this to print…my printer is working fine on other things…don’t really know what’s going on…says it’s printing…but just “hangs” out there…bummer.

  6. Daniel says:

Tried to use it today at my local Quizno’s… and of course, they said they weren’t participating… I am very ****ed

    Tustin, SoCal

  7. Nick says:

Don’t bother – no Quiznos are participating in this scam campaign. There’s still no such thing as free lunch. They are just collecting your email addresses so they can spam you later with their crap.

  8. Christine says:

Tried to use it at my Quizno’s today and they weren’t participating. They said they hadn’t even heard of the promotion.

  9. Jordan says:

Here in Denver myself and a couple coworkers have all had free lunches courtesy of Quizno’s. So, i wouldn’t say don’t bother, but do call ahead.

  10. Charles says:

Did not work for me either. Thinking about calling the corporate hq to complain.

  11. Richard says:

Most Quiznos won’t accept these coupons but it isnt their fault! Quiznos Corporate is not subsidizing the cost of this lame brain campaign (except for a whopping .75 per coupon) to the Franchise Owner. Don’t blame the Franchise Owner…blame Quiznos Corporate for this fiasco

  12. Wendi @ The Freebie Blogger says:

    Hi Richard,

That was what I was thinking. Thanks for confirming that it is true. I think that it is wrong for Quiznos to run a promotion like this, knowing that these businesses cannot afford to lose the money they would by giving away free subs. I guess they just wanted some free advertising and that is wrong.

  13. Nikolee Turner says:

Well now I know why they were rude to me today when I used my coupon!

  14. Mama Snow says:

Mine worked fine. I think almost ever Quiznos in Utah is participating. My husband, I and our neighbors went and had no problem. In fact they were even willing to put the cost of the FREE sandwich towards a bigger sandwich. We got 2 foot longs for just over $4. Sorry others haven’t’ worked as as well. I know there are times I seem to have the bad luck!

  15. Michelle says:

My Quiznos was accepting them. Hubby and I went last night and they were fine with it (at least we didn’t get an attitude from anyone).

  16. Wendi @ The Freebie Blogger says:

I’m glad somebody had a positive experience =)

  17. Nikki says:

My husband and I both went today (on our lunch hours, to separate Quiznos in our city) and we both got our free sandwiches. There was not trouble, no attitude whatsoever.
This was my first Quiznos experience and that was seriously the best sub sandwich I’ve ever had! Thanks for the info!

  18. Sarah says:

I went to 3 different Quiznos and none of them accepted the coupon (Houston,TX) few of them had printouts right on the door saying they do not accept coupons. What a freaking waste of time for a small sub. I have been planning to try Quiznos for long time somehow always got stuck to Subway, with the coupon I planned to try it out for the first time (since I heard some good reviews about them) . But now there is no way I am going near a Quiznos, the $5 footlong at Subway is far more satisfying.

  19. Sarah says:

BTW if they sent me a single mail with any of their promotion i am going to spam them with so many junk mail they will un-subscribe me themselves.

  20. Mattie says:

I used my coupon today without any problems. When I recommended the deal to my friend, she went to the site and it looked like they were no longer giving out the coupon. If that’s true, then maybe that’s for the best. That’s really low of the corporation to do that to the franchise owners. If I’d have known, I probably wouldn’t have gotten the sub.

  21. Quinn Hue says:

Well worked for me at the 8th & 34th Quiznos in New York around the corner from B&H photo & video & across Eighth from Penn Station. YOU NEED ID though. however though all they need is a picture & your name. & the people there are cool about too.

    Good scamming?

  22. Felicia says:

I made the mistake of not printing out the coupon immediately. By the time I printed it, the number of coupons was at 1million and I couldn’t print mine out – even though when signed up for the coupon and received the email link – the number was at around 100,000 people. Go figure.

  23. Becky says:

I used my coupon yesterday here in Indiana and had no problem at all, in fact the man in line behind me had a coupon also and no problem….I do suggest you call first.

  24. Linda says:

Has anyone used theirs in MA yet? Mine expires tomorrow so wondering if I should even bother.

  25. Wendi @ The Freebie Blogger says:

    Hi Linda,

Since this varies location to location I would give them a call first.

  26. How funny – I just found this article: http://www.scrippsnews.com/node/41192. Strange coincidence, don’t you think?

  27. Ben says:

I work in the digital media space (not for Quizno’s or a competitor) and can’t believe that Quizno’s would create a potentially talk worthy campaign and not get sign-off from all of their franchises. Pretty basic customer experience stuff.
Myself and a couple of colleagues also had trouble printing the coupon, just a badly thought through campaign

    http://www.scrippsnews.com/node/41192
The comments at the bottom of this article are pretty interesting in light of the problems with the promotion.

I like their subs, I feel sorry for the franchise owners

  28. Kristin says:

My husband and I both used ours the other night with out any problems. To those who had printing problems, I had this too I just waited quite a while and the file eventually sent to my printer, even then it printed very slowly.

  29. Mary says:

My husband and I printed out coupons and used them at our local Quiznos with no problem. The workers were all very kind, although we tried to be nice and order some extra things on the side.

  30. Alice says:

I did have trouble printing the first one (and finally had to hit cancel) but then read on-line to print from the browser which worked on my second attempt. My Quizno took the coupon, no problem.

  31. Danae says:

I had no problem using them. It took the cashier a bit to figure out how to ring it up, but it was fine. The coupons might take a while to print because it is a large file. Each coupon generated is new, with your code and name on it, this creates a large file that can take a long time to print depending on your printer

  32. Melanie says:

I used mine yesterday here in Georgia. They took it without any questions.

  33. Melissa S says:

Mine worked in TN. No problems.

  34. Nick says:

5 out of 6 i went to in boston did not accept..what a joke

  35. James Silva says:

I went to four different Quiznos and none accepted I seriously doubt any Quiznos are really accepting coupon if the individual franchises are not being reimbursed. I do believe Quiznos advertising company might have hired people to post that they are accepting them on sites like this one.

  36. Marie, WI says:

I went to our local quizno’s and they didn’t accept the coupon. The worker tried to give me this crazy story of why. I was very dissapointed and walked out. I will not be eatting quizno for awhile because of this so called “Free Million Sub giveway”. All quizno should have particpated.
