Yesterday was a weird day. I celebrated Christmas and my birthday, neither of which it was. If you read yesterday’s I’m Feeling Festive post you know why I was in the Christmas spirit. As for the birthday, I sign up for so many different birthday clubs that I can’t put my actual birth date in because I would never be able to take advantage of all the discounts. I got another coupon to a buffet for a free meal in celebration of my birthday. The whole way there I kept saying “Happy Birthday To Me!”
There was a rebate in the 7/20 SS for Scrubbing Bubbles Action Scrubber Starter Kit. I originally wasn’t planning on sending in the rebate because I didn’t want the item but when I found out there was a $2.75 printable coupon and I would make money on the deal I went for it.
I used the $5 off Zantac printable coupon. An 8 ct. was priced at $4.20 but they did have 32 ct. boxes for the same price as the 24 ct. (which was just over $8). Not a bad deal either way.
I emailed Kashi just recently to let them know how pleased I was with their products after trying them for the first time with the printable coupons they offered on their site. Just a few days later I received two coupons for a free Kashi product and two $0.50 off coupons. The “free” coupons were good on any product up to $5 but for some reason the register would not let the cashier deduct the cost of the item, but took the entire $5 off! So I ended up getting free crackers, cereal and an extra $3 deducted from my bill! Click here for a $2 off Kashi Vive Coupon.
I used this $1 off printable coupon to get a pouch of Bertolli pasta sauce for only $0.78. Even with the coupon the cost per ounce is more than the Aldi sauce that I normally buy but I will be nice to try something different.
It looks like I will be buying a lot of cat food in the coming weeks. I bought some $3 off coupons on eBay plus I still have my two $4 off Purina coupons from Give A Bowl that expire at the end of August.

I just made my first Christmas gift purchase – you opened up my eyes that Santa needs to get his workshop open. So I hit the Kohl’s early bird sale with my extra 15% off coupon and got a few action figures for my son. It’s makes for an enjoyable Christmas when everything is paid off before the actual holiday hits !!

Hi Dana! If you check out “clubs” in my sidebar you can find things to join to get birthday freebies. And just so you know, most restaurants that have a club and ask for your birth date will at least send a coupon on your birthday.
