After my husband and I moved away from our precious Giant Eagle I feel into a depression, not being able to get the double coupons and good deals that I was used to. During this time I mostly shopped at Aldi or Save-a-lot buying generic items. It is not that generic is bad, you just don’t get much variety in the products. Over time I slowly got back into my couponing ways. My husband has still not adjusted to all the name brand products we have been buying. Last night his eyes got so big when I told him he could have not one but 2 boxes of Pillsbury Toaster Strudels, saying that generic Pop Tarts will never be the same after this!

I stopped by Target to pick up some Pop Tarts. If you didn’t read my Target post they are 4/$9 and you earn a $5 Target gift card. My store had priced matched another store so they were only 4/$8.56 and I used 4 Target printables bringing my grand total to just $0.39 a box! This sale is good through today.

Where I want to go out to dinner on Friday night determines what city I shop for groceries in. Last night I purposefully choose a restaurant near a Giant Eagle since they were having such great sales. Here is what I got below (these sales are good through next Wednesday)

2 boxes of Multigrain Cheerios for $0.50 each after 2 doubled $0.75 printable coupons.

2 boxes of Total cereal for $0.50 each after 2 doubled $0.75 printable coupons.

2 boxes of Cheerios Crunch for $0.50 each after 2 doubled $0.75 printable coupons. Print from coupon bar in my side bar.

1 box of Apple Cinnamon Cheerios for $0.50 after $0.75 doubled coupon from 8/17 SS. 

2 boxes of Pillsbury Toaster Strudels for $1 each after 2 doubled $0.50 printable coupons. Print from coupon bar in my side bar.

5 Lean Cuisine dinners for just 1.30 each after two $1 printables and one $1.50 printable.

I still need to stop by Buehler’s. This week they have Hamburger, Chicken or Tuna Helper and Betty Crocker Au Gratin potatoes 5/$5. With two $0.80/3 Helpers coupons and two $1/2 coupons each box will only be $0.64. (These coupons can also be printed from the coupon bar in my sidebar.)
