My Rite Aid receipt is a little short this week, but I was able to get some quality items for next to nothing. I got two 30 oz. bonus-sized bottles of Shout @ $2 each, 1 roll of Duck Brand packing tape @ $1.50, and two Glade Scented Oil refills @ $2.50 each. What, you think that doesn’t sound so great? Keep reading.

My total at this point is $10.50. I used a Glade BOGO coupon and two $0.75 Shout coupons to bring my total down to $6.50. I earned a $2 single check rebate on the 2 bottles of Shout, $1.50 SCR on the tape, and a $2 SCR on the Glade refills. So that brings my total to a paltry $0.49 when all is said and done. Another great week!

That same day I went to CVS, overflowing coupon organizer in-hand, to get some more steals (I mean deals). I picked up two 216 ct. boxes of Puffs @ $1.50 each, two 32 ct. boxes of Stayfree @ $4.50 each, on 16 ct. Kotex @ $1.49 and one 24 ct. Zantac Cool Mint for $8.49.

My original total was $21.98.  I used my trusty $4/$20 coupon to knock the price down to $17.98, so I was off to a great start. I got this one in an email from CVS, and even though it was only good through the weekend, the timing couldn’t have been better. Then I used a $1 Zantac coupon, two $1 Stayfree coupons, and a $0.25 Puffs coupon (hey, a quarter is a quarter, right?). Now my total was only $14.73. I used $9.79 in ECBs which brought my total down to only $4.94 before tax. I earned $8.49 in ECBs. I try not to ever lose any ECBs, but I still made out like a bandit!
