Wonder what time zone they are talking about when they say 12pm.

  2. michelle says:

Any idea what time zone Olay is starting this? EST?

  3. Jordyn says:

Saw this on commonsensewithmoney.com also and she did not know which time zone either. Just try it at Noon EST, I guess.

  4. Wendi @ The Freebie Blogger says:

Another site is saying eastern time. So try at noon eastern time and then at noon pacific time if it isn’t up yet.

    they’re all gone now

  6. Sherry says:

It was busy the whole time!

  7. Monika says:

I attempted this for thirteen minutes. Kept being too busy then it ended. Wow! this was crazy.

  8. Ronnie says:

This was a scam. I was on at noon and the site was down (kept coming back “link broken”) When it finally came back up it said they were all gone. Then it said I could get $35 off if I bought the trio, but only if I bought it directly from them (not a coupon). I call this bait and switch. I’m off Olay now because of these poor actions.

  9. June says:

this was a joke…I tried to get the offer promptly at 12 noon and the site was not working. When will these manufactures realize that a free offer will get their site hammered. When I finally got in it was about 12:15 and there was the message that they were all gone. I guess they gave out all they had in the first 5 minutes

  10. June says:

I sent Olay and email about this mess…needless to say, I did not get a response.

  11. Ronnie says:

I got a response to my Olay e mail. It simply said that a lot of people like their products and the free 1,000 were gone instantly. They didn’t mention anythihng about the website being down at one second after noon. Then it went on to remind me that I could buy the product directly from them online. I still feel that it was a bait and switch. How could they not know that the website would be swamped?

  12. Wendi @ The Freebie Blogger says:

I’m not sure if they have done a giveaway like this in the past, but if they have, they should have known that their site couldn’t handle all the traffic. The same thing happened when Dockers was giving away free pants during the superbowl and with the Allure giveaways at noon.
