I’m sure that most of you already have a system for making a shopping list, but I found this today and thought it was pretty neat.
Scott Products is offering a free grocery checklist. Just check the box next to the items you want to put on your list or add an item in the blank boxes. At the bottom of the page click submit and you will have a printable list of just the items you have checked, organized by category.

Although I like the idea of this, it would be much more useful if the list could be saved and added to later. If you’re like me, you write your list on PAPER as you run out of items or items come to mind. It would just be an extra step to go to through to click each one on this website.
The one thing that might make it worthwhile is the fact that it categorizes your items by section of the store. This could save time when shopping and eliminate the back and forth method that I generally (unintentionally) utilize at the grocery store.
I agree with you 100%. I usually have a piece of paper in the kitchen that I add to throughout the week. When I get to the store I am all over the place since my list isn’t organized. The Scott grocery list helps with this … but like you said, you can’t add to it thoughout the week.
