Free Fun For Kids

The first Saturday of each month the Home Depot has a free Kids Workshop between 9 AM and 12 PM. These workshops are designed for kids ages 5 to 12. The items created are either useful or educational and teach Do-It-Yourself Skills as well as tool safety. In addition to the project kit, your child will also receive an orange apron and an achievement pin.

Every Tuesday Pottery Barn Kids offers free Story Time from 10 to 10:30 AM. You will receive a book club card and with each story time visit you will get a stamp. Once you get 5 stamps you will receive a free gift (I’ve heard the free gift is a $5 Pottery Barn Kids gift card!).

Lowes has free Build And Grow Clinics every two weeks on Saturday between 10 and 11 AM. Not only will your child receive a free project kit, they will also receive free safety glasses, an apron, and a patch to sew on the apron with each finished project. Note: even if you pre-register the kits are given out on a first come, first serve basis. Make sure you are there on time.
