Good for you … not so good for your friend. I wish I knew what was going on with my order but I can’t even get the page to load. I don’t expect much anymore with that site.

I just checked my order status and my items are showing as shipped. YEA !!
My girlfriend tried to place an order this afternoon and they was only able to get 5.00 her entire order.

I guess it isn’t for the used books. I found this on the shopping cart:
Borders Rewards, gift cards, and other Borders promotions are not valid for purchases made on Borders Marketplace.

okay i tried for over an hour off and on still no luck i think i almost give up frustrating.. i did write them an email though saying how disappointed i was with the overall slowness of their site and how many error messages i received when trying to place an order.

Hey really cool freebie i just added a ton of classics to my cart and this book that i can’t even find at any local book stores all under 5 bucks. I think their site is terrible though! It runs too slowly not even just the “temporarily unavailable” but just the site in general.. odd.

At one point or another I got the same errors. I would think a company a big as Border’s would have a functioning website.

I’ve been hitting back and reload and submit order off and on now for over an hour, and so far still getting the “this feature is unavailable, please try back later” error, as well as the occasional java error when I back up to my order screen, just to spice things up. It doesn’t seem like the problem is with the promo code so much as Border’s online store just stinketh. It applies the code just fine, it’s only that final step of “Place my order” that it errors on. Hmm… Ah well, this one is too good to pass up, so I will keep trying…

I tried for awhile then decided to shrink the page down and come back to it later. When I came back I tried it a few more times and it eventually went through. I still haven’t gotten a confirmation email yet on my order but when I check my account it does show up. I REALLY hope it goes through!

It took me a very long time as well, but I did get my order to go thru. I took advantage of the free shipping with a 25.00 order but I got 9 childrens books for 25.80 -the sub total was 62.73 (some items were under 5.00 and one was on sale) But I just got a savings of 36.93.
WOW – I am getting a good start on my sons Halloween, Christmas and January Birthday gifts.
You are the best, thank you..thank you for sharing his coupon with me.
