Month Long

There will be free live theater shows all this month as a part of Free Night of Theater 2008.

If you don’t mind paying a little money, Michaels has great craft events for kids all month long. Cost is $5 per child.

10/25/08

Make a pumpkin from 10 to 11 AM at Lowes. Make sure to be on time since supplies are on a first come, first serve basis. Click here to sign up.

Pat Catan’s craft stores are having Early Bird Trick or Treat from 1 to 3 PM. Kids can wear their costumes, make a free craft (I heard it is a treat bag), and trick or treat throughout the store.

Michaels is having a Scrapbook Discovery Day with make-it take-its and live demos from 1-4 PM. Check to make sure you local store will be participating.

Borders will be having a Halloween Spooktacular from 2-4 PM. Event includes storytimes, games, costume contest, and more.

10/25 and/or 10/26

Walmart is having an All You Magazine ‘Yes You Can!’ event from 10-4 PM. The event will have free samples, simple and affordable ideas for your life and more. Only at participating locations.

Old Navy is having a Freaky Fun Day on Saturday and Sunday with special treats (discounts or sweet), giveaways, special sales and more.

Babies R Us is having a Mom’s Guide To Nursing seminar at 7 PM. Reservations are suggested.

Taco Bell will be giving out free tacos from 2-6 PM.

11/01/08

Make a leaf press from 9 AM -12 PM at the Home Depot. This is for kids ages 5-12. Call your local store to register. Make sure to be on time since supplies are on a first come, first serve basis.
