Free Bicycle Helmet – Select Arizona McDonald’s

McDonald’s restaurants throughout greater Phoenix and northern Arizona will host Family Health & Safety Day, Sept. 29, at 9 a.m., an unprecedented child safety event that will give away 20,000 FREE bicycle helmets! Parents that visit their local McDonald’s restaurant with their children, ages 5 – 10, will receive a FREE bicycle helmet provided by the Arizona Chapter of American Academy of Pediatrics. Bicycle helmets will be distributed to parents at McDonald’s restaurants in Maricopa, La Paz, Mohave, Yavapai, Coconino, Gila, Navajo, Apache, Graham, and Pinal counties. The FREE bicycle helmet offer excludes Walmart and mall McDonald’s restaurant locations. Safe Kids Arizona volunteers will be on site at McDonald’s locations to properly fit the bicycle helmets.

In addition, 50 McDonald’s restaurant locations will host Health & Safety Fairs with state/county/city community service organizations providing health screenings and injury prevention information to local families.
