Not So Lazy Sunday

I almost didn’t get this post up with all that has gone on today. I won’t get into all of it but I will tell you that for some reason my categories have disappeared from my blog. I don’t yet know why or how to fix it but hopefully I will soon.

Here are the good deals I found this weekend:

While making a return to Lowe’s I noticed their Summer flyer on the counter of the Customer Service Desk. On the last page there is a coupon for $10 off a purchase of $50 or more.

Wal-Mart had Bush’s Grilling Beans on sale for $1.25. With the $1 off coupon from the insert a few weeks ago, they were only 25 cents. Honey Bunches of Oats with chocolate clusters were 1.98, but with the $2 coupon from their website they were free, plus overage. Hamburger Helper was on sale for $1.25, but with this $1 off  2 coupon they were only 75 cents a box.

CVS has a few good deals all month long. CVS brand bandages, Listerine Smart Rinse (save an extra $1 here), and Oral-B Cross Action Manual Toothbrush 2-packs are all “free” after Extra Buck rewards. Brut deodorant, after shave, cologne, and splash-on are $3.19 with $3 in Extra Bucks. CVS 500-625 ct. Cotton Swabs are $3.19 with $2 in Extra Bucks.

Just this week 11oz. Dawn dish soap is 2 for $2.00 with $1 in Extra Bucks. Use the coupon from the P&G insert in Sunday’s paper to save an additional 25 cents.

Sunday’s Akron Beacon Journal has a coupon on page A9 for $3 off $15 at CVS. If you don’t get that paper you can sign up for a 14 day free trial of the Digital Edition and print the coupon from there.
